Op 19 december 2023 organiseert het Amsterdam Centre For Migration and Refugee Law van de Rechtenfaculteit van de VU in samenwerking met de Stichting Hanneke Steenbergen Fonds de 21e uitreiking van de Hanneke Steenbergen Scriptieprijs voor de beste masterscriptie op het gebied van het migratierecht uit het collegejaar 2022-2023. Arnon Grunberg geeft voorafgaand aan de prijsuitreiking een lezing.

Programma:

15.30-16.00      Lezing (in het Nederlands) door Arnon Grunberg, auteur van o.a. ‘De vluchteling, de           grenswacht en de rijke jood’.

16.00-16.15      Pauze/break

16.15-17.15      Thesis award ceremony:

– THESIS PITCH: Short presentations of the master thesis by nominees (in English),

– Explanation of the jury report by the chair of the jury and Award Ceremony (in English)
